Mount Auburn Cemetery Celebrates the Bicentennial of Harriet Jacobs
& Launch of African American Heritage Trail

Poet Populist Toni Bee will read a poem she ‘penned’ as part of this historic event celebrating the 200th birthday of author and abolitionist Harriet Jacobs. Scholars will speak about developing the African American Heritage Trail at Mount Auburn and there will be a wreath-laying ceremony for Jacobs
