Commissioned for capital improvements, public art projects are often a part of complex construction plans that may require years to complete. In Cambridge, we try to involve artists early in conversation with communities and in collaborations with other design professionals so the work does not seem like an afterthought, rushed and out of tune with its environment.

Several projects are in progress at this time, each at a different stage of completion. Some are in the initial design phases while others are in fabrication or awaiting completion in conjunction with larger construction projects.
