- For upcoming community meetings and classes go to the City of Cambridge Calendar of Events.
- The Economic Development Division is sponsoring a series of workshops for business owners. The next scheduled workshop is Harness the Potential of Mobile Applications for Location-Based Marketing on May 17 followed by a Business Demogracphics Workshop on May 24.
- On May 16 there will be a Central Square Walk coordinated with the Central Square 2012 Committee. Meet at 6:00 P. M. at the City Hall steps.
- The next Kendall Square 2012 Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, May 17 from 8:00 A. M. to 10:00 A. M. at the Cambridge Innovation Center, 1 Broadway.
- Two Urban Cycling Workshops are scheduled for May 19 and May 29. No experience necessary. This is a how-to informational class; a bicycle is not necessary. RSVP recommended but not required. This class is just for Cambridge Residents. Those who complete the class will be eligible for a free bike helmet. - First Time Home Buyers Workshops will be held during the month of June. The dates are June 6, 13, 20, and 27. Space is limited. Registration is first come, first served. Please contact us at 617/349-4622 for more information.

- The 4th Quarter 2011 Development Log is now available.
- The City of Cambridge recently completed the CitySmart grant funded Neighborhood TDM program. The final report goes into detail about the program, outreach, the numbers, and lessons learned and opportunities to pursue as we integrate this program into existing and future citywide initiatives.
- The report of The Mayor’s Red Ribbon Commission on the Delights and Concerns of Central Square is now available for review. This file is in PDF format and requires use of the free Adobe Acrobat viewer.

- Seeking affordable housing in Cambridge? If so, there are several steps you can take to learn about housing opportunities. Complete the online sign up form for the Housing Division's affordable housing mailing list. If you are interested in homeownership submit an application to the Homeownership Resale Pool. If you are interested in rental housing you can submit an application for the Rental Applicant Pool. Applications to both pools are accepted on a rolling basis.
- The Housing Division has recently developed an updated list of resources for homeowners facing foreclosure. The document also includes information for tenants of buildings facing foreclosure.
