GoGreen Month

GoGreen Month, occurring annually in May, is a month-long celebration of transportation options, recycling, and energy conservation. Events include Bike Week celebrations, commuter appreciation days, transportation fairs and presentation of the GoGreen Business awards for outstanding environmental efforts.

Hunt for the Golden Shoes

Each May, Golden Shoes are hidden throughout Cambridge. If you find one, follow the attached instructions to claim a prize. Golden Shoes is sponsored by many area businesses.

GoGreen Awards Event

The awards recognize exceptional efforts in energy conservation, waste reduction, stormwater management, climate protection and promotion of transportation options.

At the GoGreen Awards event, the City of Cambridge honors local businesses, organizations and individuals for going green. The awards ceremony includes an evening of networking to help others:

celebrate business and institutional leaders for their actions to create a more sustainable city
learn about new opportunities for green business practices
