Timothy MacDonald, Director of Water Operations, will lead tours of the City’s beautiful treatment facility on the first Monday of most months (2nd Monday in September). Find out how water that falls as rain in the suburbs 10 miles west of Cambridge is transported to Fresh Pond and then tested, treated and delivered to the city.

In accordance with requirements of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 39, Section 23A, the Cambridge Water Board meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 between 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on the Second Floor Conference Room, Walter J. Sullivan Water Purification Facility, Cambridge Water Department, 250 Fresh Pond Parkway, Cambridge, MA 02138. If you require a sign language interpreter or other auxiliary aid or service, please notify Linda Vierboom, Administrative Assistant (tel: 349-4771), at least two weeks in advance. Such request can also be made through the Cambridge Commission for Persons with Disabilities at 349-4672, 472-0235 (TTY / TDD).
