 Transmission and Distribution

This division is responsible for the maintenance, installation and general upkeep of the transmission and distribution pipeline facilities, These facilities include, but are not limited to transmission mains services, hydrants valves and fire protection appurtencnces, The transmission and distribution system is made up of approximately 190 miles of water mains ranging in size from 4 to 63 inches in diameter. Thers are over 1,650 fire hydrants, 4,500 main valves, 18,000 valve boxes, and 13,500 services within the system.
