Business Partnership Program

Our storm sampling locations relate to a Business Partnership program that the CWD is implementing, with the goal of educating local businesses throughout the watershed on water quality issues and how their business might relate to those issues. Two tributaries, Industrial Brook and WA-17, drain a sub watershed where many of these businesses are located. Data collected from analyzing water quality at these sites will be an important tool in the partnership program, and can be used to illustrate how the affects of industry on water quality. This data will thereby increase local business’ awareness with the ultimate goal of receiving their long-term cooperation in improving the stormwater quality of this sub-basin.
