The Permit Division closes at noon (12:00pm) on Fridays. Any applications submitted after 11:30am on Fridays will not be processed until the following Monday (Tuesday when Monday is a holiday). The temporary signs are posted 48 hours in advance of the permit start. Permits processed on Mondays can not have a start date prior to the following Thursday.
You can reserve space in front of your building for your moving van (commercial plates only). A Moving Van Permit Application must be submitted 4 business days prior to the moving date. The Traffic Department will post the area so that ample space will be available for your moving van to park for easy access to your property. Please remember that the date, times and truck footage of the moving van are most important.
