Youth Employment Center (YEC)
   The Youth Employment Center, located in A301 at CRLS, provides referrals to employment and youth development programs, as well as job readiness training and career workshops for Cambridge youth ages 14 to 21. Telephone: (617) 349-6234
Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program
   The Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program provides six-week public sector and non-profit summer jobs for Cambridge youth between 14 and 18. Youth also participate in career awareness workshops and receive job counseling. Telephone: (617) 349-6234.
Neighborhood Service Project
   The Neighborhood Service Project introduces youth ages 14-15 to the world of work through neighborhood service/learning projects. Youth are paid a stipend and participate in career awareness workshops. Telephone: (617) 349-6234
TeenWork (Just A Start)
   TeenWork secures after-school and summer jobs in the private sector for Cambridge youth age 16 or older. Participants must be in high school with an overall passing grade of 75% (C+) or better and a school attendance record of 85% or better. The Work Force (Cambridge Housing Authority)
   The Work Force is a year-round program offering a structured series of work and community-based learning experiences for youth between 13 and 19 years old living in Cambridge Housing Authority public housing. The program teaches job and life skills, offers college preparatory activities, supports students in school and provides jobs and workplace mentoring.
