Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates pick-up trucks, dump trucks and panel trucks, or other vehicles with a rated capacity of 26,001 pounds including equipment such as rubbish compactor trucks, road sweepers, snow loaders, leaf loaders, snow fighters, sidewalk rollers, and road flashers. Loads and unloads trucks; picks up and hauls materials; plows and sands highway; greases, oils and cleans equipment; changes tires, and performs minor maintenance.  Also performs manual labor tasks when not working as a motor equipment operator.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

One year driving experience and a current and valid Commercial Driver's License Class B. Department of Transportation medical certifications may be required of applicants pursuant to the Teamster Local 25 Collective Bargaining Agreement  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Lifting between 25-100 pounds, proper bending, squatting, stretching, pushing, climbing, dragging and pulling.

RATE: $20.33 - $27.88 per hour plus excellent benefits
